The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Warriors Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative including angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in power within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of adventurers who will separate from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for players who are drawn to a classically intense battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might appear mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group understands precisely where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the narrative’s action—exploited The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering Thjazi’s hideout, striking the character, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.

Casimir then settled his debts and escaped to a fortified location in the northern region, above the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, wants retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as important members in House Halovar could help the party enter areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to Wicander for his deliverance and will now follow him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that govern Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This results in them few options but to head to the northern region in pursuit of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

According to the latest episode’s follow-up content, we learn that the combat party won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Questers and Planners tables.

Fans can look forward to finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
